If you want to view a WhatsApp chat from a backup file, you can use the WhatsApp Web client. First, open the WhatsApp Web client and scan the QR code with your WhatsApp app. Once you have scanned the code, the chat history will be displayed in the WhatsApp Web client.

To view your backup messages, open the Gmail app and tap the Menu icon in the top left corner. Then select “Backup.” You’ll see a list of all your backed-up messages.

To see your WhatsApp backup on Google Drive:Open WhatsApp and go to Menu > Settings > Chats > Chat Backup.Tap Back up to Google Drive and select how often you want your backups to occur—every day, every week, or every month.If you want to back up over cellular data, make sure you have the Google Drive app installed and that you’re signed in with the same account you use on WhatsApp.

To access your WhatsApp backup, you’ll need to first install the latest version of WhatsApp on your phone. Once you have installed the latest version, open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Chats > Chat Backup. From here, you’ll be able to see the date of your last backup and select which backup you would like to restore.

WhatsApp backups are stored in the iCloud account associated with the device.

There is no way to read WhatsApp backups without WhatsApp. WhatsApp backups are encrypted and can only be accessed and read by WhatsApp.
